The Vale & Village Summer Fair

Join us in Langley Vale on Saturday 18th June from 11am onwards.

This year’s Summer Fair is a joint event hosted by three village charities: The Vale Primary School PTA, the Langley Vale Village Hall Association, and the Langley Vale Preschool. Funds raised will go towards the refurbishment of The Vale Primary School infant playground and the installation of a defibrillator in the Village Hall.

The Fair will be opened by the new Mayor of Epsom and Ewell, Clive Woodbridge, at the Village Hall and by Joosje Hamilton, Deputy Lieutenant of Surrey, at the School.

Across the two venues visitors will find a variety of attractions including traditional summer fair games like hook a duck and wheel of fortune; a tombola, raffle and silent auction; the chance to shop with more than 30 small local businesses; food and drink including ice cream, fish and chips and gin from a local distiller; and even a fairy trail.

Cathy Browne and Sarah Leyland, Co-Headteachers at The Vale Primary School, said “We have a wonderful community spirit here in Langley Vale, made even stronger during the pandemic, and we are very excited to have the opportunity to come together to celebrate our community and raise some much-needed funds at the same time.”
