Children's Market
Run by Children, for Children.
Join us at Shawley Community Primary Academy on Saturday 9th July 12-2pm for our first ever Children’s Market: a market run by children for children.
The market is being hosted by Shawley Community Primary Academy and the Shawley Fundraisers (pta). The children will be hosting a variety of stalls including homemade crafts, cakes and cookies, sweets, smoothies, homemade lemonade, plants, fidgets, pre-loved toys, games and books. Some children have opted to run a games / activity stall. Please note it is cash only on the stalls. The Shawley Fundraisers will be serving refreshments including a BBQ, where cash and card will be accepted.
Emma Dallimore, headteacher at Shawley said “We are a community school and we love nothing more than bringing our local community together whilst giving children the opportunity to be young entrepreneurs. We are very excited to come together with children from a wide range of schools and give them the opportunity to organise and run their own business for the day.”
